Nordlicht Arctic Charm (Ammulett)  elcome to Nordlicht Kennel. We are dedicated to keeping the Leonberger; true to their origin in temperament, versatility and appearance. Our Leonbergers are raised in the home and nurtured with a holistic care program. They receive an exercise regime varied in length and content that develops the mind as well as bone and muscle. It is our goal to continue the tradition that made the Leonberger unique among the giant breeds - a large elegant dog of balanced temperament, keen intelligence and athletic ability. Our breeding program works towards a healthy companion to enrich people's lives. We look for intelligence with an aptitude for learning to ensure versatility; agility in an athletic body to ensure fluid, elegant movement; energy to ensure alertness and stamina; and above all a friendly confident companion with a protective nature to ensure an excellent well-balanced temperament. We believe these points are the foundation of the original classic Leonberger and Nordlicht Kennel is dedicated to preserving that line. It is not our job to produce Leonberger puppies, we beleive it is our job to improve the breed. So when we do produce puppies, they go to carefully selected homes.
